These are the projects COGEM is currently working on. Research projects are performed by third parties. The date is the estimated date at which the project will be completed.
COGEM has been asked to advise on the environmental risks of genetically modified (GM) maize line DP202216. This GM maize line is tolerant to glufosinate-ammonium containing herbicides due to the expression of the mo-pat gene. Additionally the line contains the gene zmm28 which results in plants with enhanced grain yield potential.
COGEM was asked to advise on the environmental risks of import and processing of genetically modified (GM) maize MON 88017 x MON 810. This line expresses the genes cry3Bb1, cry1Ab, and cp4 epsps, which confer insect resistance and herbicide tolerance to the crop.
